Head of Quality Assurance and Reviews

Our local authority client is looking for an experienced Head of Quality Assurance and Reviews to join their busy team. Full details below:

PURPOSE OF THE JOB

  • To lead the management of a comprehensive assurance regime to meet contractual compliance and statutory requirements, drive efficiency and maximise return on investment.
  • To develop effective processes for the quality assurance and reviews service dealing with all complaints, Ombudsman cases, Member enquiries, statutory reviews and appeals under the Housing Act 1996 (as amended).
  • Direct line management of two Team Managers.

PERSON SPECIFICATION

  • Extensive experience of managing statutory reviews, contracts and service improvement.
  • Detailed knowledge of homelessness legislation, guidance and caselaw, and knowledge of the broader housing environment
  • Experience in a similar role ideally within a local authority/public sector environment
