Head of QSHE (Energy Sector) - Stafford - £55k - £60k per annum + company benefits and £6k car allowance

Our client is a well-established and successful Energy company based in Stafford; due to their continued growth and expansion they are looking for an experienced Head of QSHE to join their existing team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the quality, safety, health, and environmental initiatives of the business and will be pivotal in driving the company’s commitment to the highest standards of operational excellence and regulatory compliance across all sites.

Main responsibilities include:

  • Providing expert advice on all QSHE (Quality, Safety, Health and Environment) matters.
  • Leading the development and implementation of the QSHE strategy
  • Managing a team to ensure comprehensive site audits and assessments are carried out to ensure adherence to safety and quality standards.
  • Managing and enhancing QSHE policies and procedures
  • Overseeing training and development
  • Preparing and presenting QSHE performance reports to senior management and stakeholders.
  • Conducting regular compliance audits and coordinating with project teams to ensure all standards are consistently met.
  • Providing training and support to project teams on compliance matters

Skills / Experience Required:

  • Occupational Health and Safety Certificate (Minimum Level 6 is essential).
  • Obtain professional certifications, such as NEBOSH Diploma (essential).
  • Obtain a membership with ISOH (Minimum Certified), IEMA (essential).
  • Black CSCS card (essential).
  • Have experience with working in a CDM environment (essential).
  • Demonstrated expertise in UK construction-related health, safety, and environmental regulations (essential).
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in compliance management within the construction or energy sector (essential).
  • Detailed knowledge of PAS2035 and MCS requirements (essential).
  • Manage and maintain ISO 45001, 14001, 9001, SSIP, Advanced CHAS (essential).

A Full UK Driver’s Licence is required for this positon

Hours of Work - Monday to Friday 9:00am - 5:00pm
