I am working with my client on an exclusive basis to secure a Head of Production on a full time, permanent basis. This organisation is a leading player and highly regarded within their industry in the UK and beyond.

As the Head of Production, you will be responsible for the following:

  • Oversee the daily operations of production and manufacturing.
  • Implement and monitor production plans.
  • Oversee health and safety regulations.
  • Drive efficiency improvements in the manufacturing processes.
  • Liaise with different departments across logistics, supply chain and beyond to ensure smooth workflow.
  • Develop team members through coaching and mentoring.
  • Handle any technical issues that may arise during production.
  • Report on key production metrics to senior management.

As the Head of Production, you will have the following experience:

  • 5 + years’ experience of heading up a production or manufacturing department (this could be UK, Europe or multi-site)
  • FMCG experience beneficial but open to all industries.
  • Excellent knowledge of production and manufacturing processes.
  • Continuous improvement and cost reduction experience.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • The ability to work collaboratively with different departments.

The client is ideally looking for the successful candidate to start as soon as possible, however open to a notice period for the right person.
