Head of Procurement & Supply Chain
An exciting chance has a risen to join an expanding global food business. They are looking for someone who is looking to step up into a Head of Procurement & Supply chain role.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3-5 years experience gained within the food and beverage industry or quick service restaurants.
A mix of experience gained in procurement, supply chain and logistics.

The role of Head of Supply Chain and Procurement is to lead a value-driving team, responsible for all aspects of the company's food and packaging buying and distribution into shops (UK and Europe), ensuring the highest quality of commodities, building strategic supplier relationships, while identifying commercial opportunities to drive value.
They are looking for someone to step up into a Head of role an who has also some experience of European Supply Chains.
Manging a TEAM of 4
- Be responsible for identifying and procuring the goods for retail stores, including identifying suppliers, negotiating prices, and arranging for the purchase and delivery of these goods into distributor, including managing inventory and distribution.
- Source to an agreed specification while collaborating cross-functionally to deliver the customer offer.
- Own, develop and implement the complete food, drink, and packaging procurement strategy allowing the business to hit its commercial and sustainability targets.
- Support the development of colleagues / team and help manage their personal growth.
- Review and update supply chain practises in line with company policies, standards, and regulations.
- Negotiate terms and prices with supplier and distribution companies, monitoring and assessing their SLAs and maintaining cost effective practices.
- Analyse supply chain data, solving any issues or implementing alternative solutions.
- Oversee the logistics process, tracking goods from originating point to warehouse.
