Seeking Passionate People Consultant - not for profit/professional services experience

This is a 9 - 10 month FTC working for an organisation that offers flexible working. They are open to full or part time and offer hybrid working.

A brilliant opportunity has become available for a highly motivated and dynamic senior HR professional to join a wonderful people-centric organisation based in Rugby as their interim Head of People & Culture on an FTC basis. 

Leading a small HR team, you’ll be partnering the SLT to shape the strategic view of the function and business. You’ll be creating and delivering the people plan, defining and driving the values and culture and delivering a clear OD plan.

What you’ll do:

  • Manage the day to day operational HR function
  • LT Coaching: Empower leaders through effective coaching, aligning them with people practices that drive organisational goals and culture
  • Work alongside SLT to develop and implement a HR strategy which is aligned to business needs
  • Facilitate and drive change: Lead change processes, projects, and initiatives to steer the organisation towards its objectives and cultural aspirations
  • Create a vibrant and enticing employee value proposition to develop the culture
  • Ensure HR policies and procedures are aligned to the overall business plans
  • Provide advice and support to managers on all HR issues

What you’ll be:

  • High emotional intelligence and an ability to build strong relationships quickly to influence and operate at a senior level
  • Strategic Leadership of HR in a commercial environment
  • Aptitude to coach senior level leaders 
  • Demonstrable success in change management
  • Proven leadership, management, and project management skills
  • Excellent commercial judgment and discretion
  • Articulate, professional and motivational communication
  • Excellent stakeholder management and executive coaching skills
