Head of Group Finance

Role Overview: As the Group Head of Finance, you will play a pivotal role as a key partner to the CFO, overseeing various financial aspects of the business. Your responsibilities will include managing a remote team of three, handling finance-related tasks, and providing critical support in decision-making processes.

Responsibilities:

• Reporting directly to the CFO and collaborating closely with senior leadership.
• Supervising a remote team of three professionals involved in diverse finance functions.
• Reviewing monthly management accounts for subsidiaries, including our Dutch operations, and preparing presentations for the monthly board meetings.
• Managing cash flow for the entire group, covering both the UK and Netherlands.
• Overseeing payroll, VAT, and tax compliance for the group across both UK and Netherlands jurisdictions.
• Coordinating audit activities for the entire group.
• Engaging in commercial business partnering initiatives to support strategic decision-making.
• Conducting monthly variance analyses to identify key financial trends and opportunities for improvement.

Requirements:

• ACCA, CIMA, or ACA qualified is a must.
• Must be very confident with Netsuite.
• Proven experience in a senior finance role, ideally within a multinational environment.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage remote teams.
• Excellent analytical skills and proficiency in financial reporting.
• Prior exposure to mergers and acquisitions processes preferred.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels.
