Our client, a consumer-facing, high-growth private equity backed business, is seeking to appoint a Head of FP&A to join their dynamic finance team. As part of the Finance Leadership Team, this role is crucial in coordinating analysis and insight, accounting, process improvement, integration, and strategic development.

Responsibilities will include:
  • Leading financial and commercial analysis and insight
  • Challenging business assumptions and performance with rigour
  • Enhancement of business-wide partnering facility
  • Developing productive and strong working relationships across all functions
  • Robustly evaluating all business projects and initiatives in both a quantitative and qualitative manner
  • Oversight of the business planning cycle including the annual budgeting activity and reforecasting
  • Developing both functional and individual capabilities to build a fit for purpose FP&A Team
  • Managing the financial risk and opportunities within the risk appetite of the business
  • Leading M&A strategic financial validation, internalising DD workstreams and leading on post completion reporting and integration plan alignment

The successful candidate will be a key player in establishing a new FP&A function and will challenge and facilitate both the commercial/operational agenda and strategic direction of the business. Strong leadership and communication skills are critical to success in this role.
