An esteemed Independent Fire Consultancy, renowned for their expertise in the field, is actively seeking a Head of Fire Engineering to spearhead their progressive team now based in Leeds.

The Role of Head of Fire Engineering

As the Head of Fire Engineering, you will collaborate closely with the Managing Director and the Board to influence and drive the strategic and operational growth of the Fire Engineering division. With a legacy of over 40 years and presence in multiple locations nationwide, the company prides itself on its involvement in globally significant building projects, including some of the world's tallest structures.

This pivotal role demands a strategic thinker with a robust track record in maintaining high-level relationships across various sectors, including Commercial, Hi-Rise, and Residential. The Head of Fire Engineering plays a crucial role in ensuring all projects comply with the latest fire safety regulations and standards. Additionally, you will be responsible for disseminating Fire Engineering expertise within the team through continuous professional development sessions and other communicative approaches.

The Head of Fire Engineering

• At least 7 years of experience in Fire Engineering.
• Preferable to have prior Management Experience.
• Aspiring or existing Chartered Engineer.
• Member of the Institution of Fire Engineers (IFE).
• Degree in Fire Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a closely related discipline.
• Demonstrated expertise in the Residential and Commercial sectors.
• Proven ability in business development.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
