Head of Financial Advice

My client is a progressive regional firm of Independent Financial Planners in Yorkshire, providing their clients with Independent Financial Advice. They have been established for over 15 years and despite their expanding size and growth, they are true to their heritage as a family run business.

The Head of Advice will lead the team of Independent Financial Planners and support the team of Paraplanners and Administrators, ensuring the delivery of high-quality, compliant, and client-focused advice. The role is pivotal in shaping the advice strategy, driving business performance, and maintaining the highest standards of regulatory compliance and ethics.

The role will focus on the delivery of my clients team targets and objectives, whilst operating within the established business procedures and adhering to the regulatory environment. Working closely with other members of the Senior Leadership Team, you will also play a key role in the business’s further growth and development.

Experience needed for The Head of Financial Advice role:

• Team Leadership - experience in leading and motivating teams to achieve collective goals, fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment
• Demonstrated substantial experience providing financial advice and achieving/exceeding relevant KPI's
• Previous experience in mentoring and training Adviser Teams, contributing to the development of skills and knowledge within the team
• Strong understanding of financial products, regulations and market dynamics
• Proven ability to identify and cultivate new business opportunities to expand the client base
• Experience in implementing effective client retention strategies, fostering long-term relationships and maximising client satisfaction and loyalty

Qualifications

• Minimum Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning
