Head of Finance | Public Sector | Hybrid Working

Castlefield Recruitment are partnering with a reputable Public Sector organisation based in the North West, who are looking to identify a Head of Finance to join their progressive team on a permanent basis.

The role will report to and work closely with the Director of Finance and will be responsible for the providing a high providing high quality accounting services to the organisation.

Responsibilities include;

• Developing and delivering Medium Term Financial Strategies
• Play a key role in developing and delivering the organisation's continuous improvement programme
• Leading on the delivery of the closure of accounts and production of statutory accounts
• Responsibility for the delivery of relevant and timely advice and guidance to the Senior Management Team
• Development and leadership of Finance team
• Building influential relationships with key stakeholders across the organisation’s Service areas, at a strategic level

The successful candidate;

• Fully Qualified with experience developed across the Public Sector
• Strategic mindset with the ability to build key relationships at senior level
• Strong leadership skillset
