Responsibilities:

Take ownership of the finance function, overseeing all financial operations and ensuring compliance with regulations and policies.
Lead and manage a team of finance professionals, providing guidance and support to enhance performance and achieve organisational goals.
Develop and implement financial strategies to support the organisation's growth and sustainability.
Provide timely and accurate financial reporting to senior management, enabling informed decision-making and strategic planning.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify areas for cost optimisation and drive financial efficiency.
Work closely with external auditors to facilitate the audit process and ensure compliance with audit requirements.
Stay abreast of industry trends and best practises in finance to drive innovation and continuous improvement.

Requirements:

Qualified accountant with a proven track record of success in finance leadership roles.
Extensive knowledge of accounting principles, financial planning, and analysis.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to effectively interpret and communicate complex financial information.
Advanced proficiency in financial software and ERP systems.
Excellent leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
