We are currently working with a City based international law firm who are keen to bring on board a qualified Head of Finance on a part time basis.

Permanent - Part-time 3 days a week office based

Offices located in brand new offices close to Liverpool St

They are keen to hire a qualified Head of Finance with strong SRA knowledge and experience acting as the COFA within a law firm who can transfer their experience and knowledge into a growing firm and work on a mix of projects, take the lead on all cash management and preparation of management accounts whilst liaising with auditors and tax advisors.

Reporting into the Managing Partner, the Head of Finance will take responsibility for overseeing the day to day running of the finance department, overseeing an Accounts Officer, preparing financial reporting (monthly, quarterly, annual reports and surveys), corporate tax and group VAT returns, management accounting and ad-hoc performance reports.

Head of Finance Requirements;

  • ACCA/ACA/CIMA qualified
  • Current law firm accounting experience with COFA responsibilities
  • Excellent working knowledge of Excel, macro skills preferable
  • Full SRA, VAT & AML knowledge
  • Advanced Excel
  • Experience of running numerous financial based projects
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
