Head of Finance (Maternity cover contact), FinTech.

Our client is a rapidly growing investment and wealth management platform. They have developed investment solutions for some of the world's most sophisticated institutions and private investors. Their success has been built on utilising sophisticated data driven portfolio analytics.

Overview: Reporting to the CEO; supporting with an upcoming fund raise; managing all day-to-day financial activity (team of 3).

Key responsibilities:

  • Lead the yearly budget cycle and five-year planning process.
  • Support due diligence activities, preparing supporting documentation and analysis for fund raising activities.
  • Lead and oversea the quarterly reforecasting process, maintaining the business operating model.
  • Oversee monthly management accounts including budget vs actuals.
  • Prepare key trends and KPI reporting along with meaningful financial commentary and forecasts for Board review.
  • Leading the finance team (3).

Your profile:

  • A qualified accountant with at least 5 years PQE.
  • You must have held a Financial Controller, Head of Finance role within an investor (VC/PE backed) business ideally FinTech, SaaS or a related sector.
  • Demonstrable experience covering reporting, budgeting, forecasting, planning and analysis from an SME environment.
  • A strong leadership profile. Experienced at working with senior (c-suite level) stakeholders.
  • Available within one month.

Hybrid working model: 1-2 days in Central London office.
