Head of Finance

Axon Moore are exclusively supporting a high growth services business in sourcing a high calibre Head of Finance for their Central Manchester offices. As Head of Finance you will be responsible for driving company growth whilst partnering with operations to maximise efficiencies and profitability. Alongside the day to day accounting requirements, this is a commercial role providing leadership to a junior team and supporting decision making across the business.

Salary - £80k - £100k
Location - Manchester

The Role

-        Partnering with the MD, FD, Ops Director and General Manager to drive strategy and commercial growth
-        Ownership of forecasting and budgeting processes
-        Managing and developing a team of 3 junior finance members and the transactional team
-        Providing commercial analysis and MI to senior leadership
-        Leading on year end duties including internal and external audit and statutory accounts
-        Preparation of monthly board packs including in depth commentary
-        Oversight of cashflow forecasting and modelling
-        Business partnering with operations to maximise efficiencies and costings

The Person

-        Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
-        Experience of working closely with operations
-        Strong technical accounting experience
-        Experience of leading and developing a team
-        Comfortable engaging and influencing c level individuals
-        Experience of working in a high growth environment
