Head of Finance

The Permanent Division of Robert Half is currently recruiting for a Head of Finance on behalf of a specialist Manufacturing and Sales business with offices in Luton

The Role

As Head of Finance you will support the Managing Director for the UK business and play a crucial role in driving financial strategy and planning within the organisation. Day to day duties will consist of:

• Responsible for the overall management of all financial activities
• Supporting the company's objectives to enhance and optimise the financial performance and strategic position
• Prepare financial forecasts.
• Monitors financial details to ensure legal compliance.
• Analyses revenue, expenses, cash flow, and balance sheets.
• Staff Management
• Working in partnership with Senior Management
• Produce Annual budget P&L to be approved by the board
• Ownership of revenue reporting: to include reporting against budget/forecast/targets.
• Supporting MD in M&A and investment processes
• Taking a lead on internal and external reporting processes both monthly and annually, including Group consolidation P&L and BS

Your Profile

You will ideally be a Qualified Accountant with previous experience in a Manufacturing/Stock/Sales environment looking for an opportunity to step up and take ownership within a UK subsidiary of a Larger European Group. Previous experience of working within in a Group Setting would be an advantage.

Salary and Benefits

Role of Head of Finance will be based 5 days a week on site in Luton for at least the first 12 months with flexibility thereafter and is paying £60-70K + Benefits
