This Head of Finance position offers the opportunity to lead a dynamic finance team in a reputable not-for-profit organisation, focusing on the provision of strategic financial leadership and management within the Accounting & Finance department.

This role will lead the Finance team and will deputise for the Director of Finance. Description

• Oversee and manage the Accounting & Finance department.
• Prepare monthly and annual management accounts
• Prepare annual financial statements and year end reporting packs
• Ensuring the organisation is tax compliant
• Develop and implement financial strategies and systems.
• Prepare and present financial reports to stakeholders.
• Comply with financial regulations and legislation.
• Provide strategic financial guidance to senior management.
• Monitor and manage budgets, forecasts, and expenditure.
• Coordinate the annual audit process.
• Foster a positive team environment and provide staff development opportunities.

Profile

A successful Head of Finance should have:

• A full Accountancy Qualification (CIMA/ ACCA/ CIPFA/ ACA)
• Prepared financial and management accounts
• The ability to manage staff
• Strong knowledge of financial regulations and legislation.
• Excellent financial analysis and forecasting abilities.
• Proficient in using financial software and systems.
