Head of Finance | Lisburn

£70,000 - £75,000 (neg)

Reed Finance is partnered with a European FMCG business in Lisburn, in the appointment of a fully qualified and experienced Head of Finance.

The primary focus of this role is to work in conjunction with the board and fellow senior management, contributing to the overall success of the business and achieving the business objectives and results.  Key responsibilities include:

  • Monthly Management Accounts production including all month end journals and reconciliations Responsibility for the payroll department and production of the monthly VAT Returns & Intrastat submissions
  • Build detailed Profit and Loss accounts for each department
  • Highly detailed forecasting, planning and analysis of all business channels
  • Support of Accounts Payable and Receivable functions
  • Additional reporting requirements as required including areas on cost, cash flow, balance sheet and forecasting
  • Manging a small and established transactional finance team

About you:

  • A fully qualified accountant (CIMA/ACA/ACCA etc.) with a minimum of 5+ years’ experience
  • Competent in all Microsoft Office packages specifically Excel to a highly advanced level
  • Excellent communication skills for presentation of information both verbally and in written format
  • People management with focus on successfully co-ordinating the work of others alongside own workload and motivating the team
