Job Title: Head of Ecology

Salary: £70,000 - £90,000

Locations: Hampshire

Penguin Recruitment have partnered with a specialist Environmental Contractor in Hampshire who are seeking a Ecologist to join the team as Head of Ecology.

They have seen recent growth within their small Ecology outfit, and with plenty of varied projects on board, they could not be in a better position to have a confident leader in place to drive their Ecology practice to new levels.

Your duties will be:

• Provide high-level technical guidance on ecological projects, advising best practice
• Oversee management of ecology resources within the company.
• Oversee development of ecological management strategies, plans and budget costs as required.
• Advise on habitat management and current wildlife legislation, as required.
• Oversee professional development of the ecology team, working closely with the senior management team

To be considered for the Head of Ecology position, you will need:

• Degree in a relevant subject.
• Be an experienced Principal Ecologist, Associate or Technical Director.
• Hold full membership with CIEEM, and ideally chartership or be working towards it.
• Full driving licence
• Be willing to work predominately in the office in Hampshire, some work can be done from home. there are options for flexible working.
