Head of Direct Tax, Fully Remote Role
A role has arisen for an experienced Senior Tax Manager / Tax Director to join as a Head of Direct Tax in an established tax team. Reporting to the Group Tax Director, you will form part of the Tax Leadership team and lead a team of 3. The role will have a bias towards compliance and reporting but will still have responsibility for advisory and business partnering work.
Key responsibilities include:
- Responsibility for the end-to-end delivery of UK and Ireland CT compliance and oversight of the group's tax status in its key international jurisdictions
- Responsible for accurate reporting of CT results; review and delivery of accounting and reporting processes for tax, and preparation of the year end IFRS tax disclosures for the annual report
- Ensuring compliance with worldwide transfer pricing and BEPS obligations, including new Pillar II considerations
- Lead relationship with HMRC
- Advisory support on large and complex contracts, internal restructuring projects, international business opportunities and M&A transactions.
The successful candidate will have lead a similar function in-house for a group operating in multiple territories and have knowledge of Pilar 2. The Group is happy for people to work fully remotely or have their Head Office in London. Please apply now for more information.
