Head of Development - Digital Agency - Hybrid, Leeds - £75,000

This is an opportunity for a hands-on Development Manager, Technical Lead or Head of Development to join a high-growth marketing agency based in Leeds.

You will be responsible for a cross-functional team of 12, working on digital solutions on a global scale.

The Role

With a focus on Agile methodologies, you'll play a pivotal role in managing projects, mentoring team members, and ensuring exceptional client interaction. This hybrid role offers a balanced split between management responsibilities and hands-on project delivery. Your team will be delivering projects to some of the world's biggest brands such as Microsoft and The Royal Airforce.

The development team are currently focused on building complex projects using tech such as PHP, Laravel, VueJS, ReactJS, NodeJS, AWS.

Day-to-day you'll be focused on team leadership & development, project management, architecture, research and development, documentation, Agile processes, project delivery, hands-on development.

Key Requirements:

• A track record in leading development teams.
• Excellent communication skills with expertise in project scoping.
• Strong knowledge of web infrastructure, DevOps, and cloud platforms.
• Up-to-date with industry trends, particularly AI in development tools.
• A background in development with PHP & JavaScript.
