The Company

My client is an established financial services business who are currently experiencing an exciting period of growth and transformation.

They are headquartered in Birmingham, West Midlands.

The Role

This is a newly created senior management-level role that will have overall responsibility for all things Cyber Security within the business.

As the Head of Cyber Security, you will be responsible for designing and implementing a strong cyber security strategy that aligns with the organisational goals.

You will also establish and enforce security policies, standards, and procedures to meet industry regulations, such as ISO 27001 and NIST.

You will be responsible for protecting the business by using a range of technologies and processes to prevent, detect, monitor, and manage known and emerging cyber threats.

This role enforces regulations in all aspects and levels of business and provides guidance on IT compliance and cyber security matters.

The Head of Cyber Security also coordinates security audits and prepares the firm for external inspections.

The Person

We are looking for an experienced senior cyber security leader looking to take on a challenging yet very rewarding role.

The successful candidate will have previously held the positions of Head of Cyber Security, Head of Information Security, or Chief Information Security Officer (CISO).

Proven experience operating within the banking or financial services sector is essential.
