The firm now seeks a Residential Conveyancing Solicitor, Licensed Conveyancer or Legal Executive to join its expanding high-street practice as a Head of Conveyancing
The Role:
The successful Head of Conveyancing will oversee a team of Conveyancers with duties within this role will consist of:
- To provide professional lead, legal training and supervision to the property department
- To take responsibility for the professional lead of the property departments (sale and purchase, re-mortgage, equity release and post completion) and fee earners.
- To be responsible for case supervision of team leaders and property fee earners in the performance of their case work by monthly file reviews
- To provide appropriate input to ensure the firm retains Lexcel and CQS accreditation;
- To provide input to Appraisals where appropriate
The Head of Conveyancing will guide the process from file opening to closing, including post-completion/registration.
To Apply:
The ideal Head of Conveyancing will bring a solid understanding of property law, some experience in managing members of a team or experience working as a Head of Department in a previous role is highly desirable but not a deal breaker.
This Conveyancer must have at least 4+ years PQE experience handling a caseload from initial quotes through to post-completion.
