Tradewind Recruitment is currently looking for an enthusiastic and committed Head of Computer Science to join a successful secondary school in Trafford.

This is a full-time teaching role initially offered on a long-term supply basis.

The Role

Teacher of ICT and Computing and Creative media

Curriculum lead for Computer department.

Confident, focussed and passionate about Computing and Creative Media

Outstanding subject knowledge with an ability to share this with pupils in an exciting and academically rigorous way

Excellent leadership and management skills

Delivery of outstanding lessons in key stage 3 and Key stage 4 OCR National Diploma in Computer science and Creative media

To join us and be successful in this Head of Computer Science role, you will need to:

Hold QTS or QTLS

Ideally, have experience as a subject leader in computer science or as second in department

This position is subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional references checks

Provide a CV with full employment/education history included and any employment breaks must be explained

Have the legal right to work full time in the UK
