Head of Careers and Work Experience

Job Title: Careers and Work Experience Manager (Career Guidance Qualified)
Salary: £20 per hour
Location: Welwyn Garden City / St Albans
Contract: Interim position - ongoing
Hours: Monday to Friday (37 hours)
 
COMPANY PROFILE
Our client based in Welwyn Garden City are looking for a proactive, results driven individual to join their team as a Careers and Work Experience Manager.
 
This role has the potential to go permanent, although this is not guaranteed.
 
SKILLS REQUIRED
·A recognised qualification in Information, Advice and Guidance at Level 6 (Level 4 minimum)
·Strong IT Skills including Microsoft Office
·Knowledge and experience of the UCAS Apply System
·Leadership and management experience
·Excellent communication skills
·Organised and able to work under pressure
·Administration experience
·DBS check
 
RESPONSIBILITIES
·Manage and motivate the work experience team
·Be in control of the career education programme
·To ensure the arrangement of an expert, client focussed help with the goal that potential students receive appropriate and timely advice
·To support relevant activities either on an individual, group or drop in basis
·Keep the website and intranet up to date
·Be fully conversant with the range of equality and diversity and safe guarding policies and procedures
·To create systems, policies, and procedures that support student growth
