Head of Bids / Bid Management

We are partnered with one of the UK's most exciting Fintech business, who are experiencing rapid growth.

This role will be responsible for leading and managing the bid management function, including developing and executing bid strategies to win new contracts and expand their client base. In addition, in this role, you will be working closely with cross functional teams to develop compelling proposals that meet the client requirements and also align with their strategic objectives.

In this role you will need to have a great balance of both delivering on strategy and also be comfortable being hands on writing and driving bids to successful completion.

Within this role you will:

• Lead the end-to-end bid management process, from opportunity identification and qualification to proposal submission and contract negotiation.
• Develop and implement bid strategies that differentiate our offerings in the marketplace and maximise our chances of success.
• Lead and manage a small team of bid professionals, providing guidance, coaching, and support to ensure the timely delivery of high-quality proposals.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, finance, and operational teams, to develop integrated bid strategies that meet client needs and objectives.
• Drive continuous improvement in bid management processes and tools to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
• Monitor industry trends, market dynamics, and competitive intelligence to inform bid strategies and identify new business opportunities.
• Identify and assess potential risks associated with bids and propose mitigation strategies.
• Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, partners, and subcontractors, to enhance our bid capabilities and expand our network.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, policies, and procedures throughout the bid management process.
