Head of Bids and Tenders 6 Month FTC

We are in immediate need of a consultant to conduct a comprehensive review of our existing contracts, frameworks, and rates, and to develop strategies for capitalizing on future opportunities. The ideal candidate must possess an in-depth understanding of NPS, Crescent, and Crown Commercial, and demonstrate proficiency in securing work through formal bids and tenders across both private and public sectors. It is imperative that they are well-versed in the procurement processes of both the Welsh government and central government, with a solid grasp of how NPS, Crescent, and Crown Commercial function. Given the urgency of this matter, candidates must have substantial prior experience in this field, as this level of expertise cannot be acquired on the job. Preferably, we are seeking individuals with a background in law firms, including those who have transitioned into entrepreneurship.

Leading in the development of bid proposals/contracting arrangements for the portfolio of programmes;

• Lead in bid solution design and development
• Identify and develop new opportunities through coordinated bid management / campaign planning
• Manage customer requirements in liaison with Commercial Function
• Manage stakeholders to assure efficient application of governance to approve bid proposals Lead in bid solution design and development
• Coordinate all Lifecycle Management (LCM) activity through concept to contract award (ahead of handover into the respective delivery organisation)
