Head of Automotive Events

Working across a range of automotive clients and with both media and customers this leading agency create and deliver a huge range of events and experiences from major launch events through to black tie dinners, VIP incentives and PR stunts!  Having built a solid reputation for taking on the impossible and creating memorable experiences, their events typically run hand in hand with content creation projects.

Based in Lancashire they have well established and developed relationships with their clients and their work takes them across the UK and all over the world delivering projects from one day to several weeks!

THE ROLE

Due to continued growth and a busy calendar of events they are now looking to bring on an experienced Head of Events to work across their broad range of events. A varied role responsibilities include:

• Client management
• Internal team and onsite team management
• End to end delivery across a range of events
• Proposal writing and pitching
• Full logistics management including travel and accommodation booking
• Delegate management and registration including managing all communications
• Working closely with internal departments and freelancers
• Supplier management and liaison
• Ensuring health and safety of events onsite
• Budget management and reconciliation
• Onsite management

THE CANDIDATE

Candidates must have a solid and proven background of managing a range of events end to end, including line management and managing suppliers and budgets. Strong logistics experience is essential and candidates must be experienced in travel and accommodation booking as well as client and guest liaison.  Any exposure (or interest in) the automotive sector would be an added benefit as would an understanding of PR, media and production practices but neither are essential for the role. Please note due to the nature of the role a high degree of travel and onsite work will be required so someone with a passion (and willingness) for travel is essential.
