One of our client’s strategic outcomes is to provide warm, safe and secure homes for their customers. They need to continue to invest in their existing properties, while looking for opportunities to develop much needed new affordable homes. They're looking for a Head of Asset Management & Development to lead on this, delivering programmes to time and budget, whilst inspiring and motivating their team.
You will be financially astute, decisive and self-motivated. You'll understand the importance of data and deadlines, along the expectations of customers. Your communication skills will be paramount, and you'll need to be able to present to their Board, as well as talking in understandable language to their customers.
Ideally, they're looking for someone with direct experience of managing social housing assets. Development experience would also be advantageous, but there is scope within the role for you to expand your skills and knowledge in this area. It's an ever changing environment, with scrutiny from our Regulator and the Housing Ombudsman.
