Brand new opportunity with a Luxury 105 room Hotel opening in Kensington Looking for a head housekeeper to join the Team !!!

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Head Housekeeper to join our team. As the Head Housekeeper, you will be responsible for overseeing the cleanliness and maintenance of our hotel. Your attention to detail and strong leadership skills will ensure that our guests have a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

Responsibilities:

- Supervise and train housekeeping staff, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and to high standards

- Assign daily cleaning duties to housekeeping staff, ensuring that all areas of the hotel are cleaned and maintained

- Inspect guest rooms and common areas to ensure cleanliness and adherence to hotel standards

- Coordinate with other departments to ensure timely delivery of supplies and equipment needed for housekeeping operations

- Handle guest inquiries and complaints regarding housekeeping services, resolving any issues in a professional and timely manner

- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, placing orders as needed

- Implement and enforce safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment for staff

- Collaborate with management to develop and implement housekeeping policies and procedures

Experience:

- Previous experience in a similar role within the hotel or hospitality industry is required

- Strong knowledge of housekeeping practices, procedures, and techniques

- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively

- Proven leadership abilities with the capacity to motivate and inspire a team

- Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards

- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
