Working within a high volume, busy environment, this kitchen caters for a main restaurant as well as grab & go, all day grazing as well and high-end hospitality.
As the Head Chef, you will
* Lead, manage and develop a large team ensuring standards are maintained at all times
* Manage costs and budget accordingly
* Create fresh exciting menus using seasonal ingredients for both staff dining and hospitality
* Work alongside the GM and liaise with the client for new menus
* All food is freshly prepared and seasonal so exceptional culinary skills are essential.
Working hours are 5/7, approx. 45 hours per week.
You, as the ideal candidate, would be
* at Head Chef/Exec Chef or Development Chef level with a proven work history
* experienced within a high volume, fresh food kitchen
* attentive to detail and presentation
* financially aware
* a strong leader with the proven ability to lead and train a team
* flexible and adaptable - able to change direction if the business requires
* have a calm, rational and positive manner
