The successful candidate will manage every aspect of the kitchen operation from the front, lead the team, drive sales, and prepare and cook the company core menu.

We are looking for an enthusiastic Head Chef with high volume experience who will relish the opportunity to work for an award winning company - a leader in their field.

Role - Head Chef

As Head Chef you will:

• Take full ownership of the kitchen operation
• Prepare and cook the company core spec menu
• Motivate, train and develop the team
• Work in a hands-on capacity leading from the front
• Control labour and manage wastage, the GP, and all costs & budgets
• Order and control stock
• Maintain high standards of service & compliance with company systems & procedures
• Work closely with the front of house team

Attributes - Head Chef

We are looking for:

• Experience gained in high volume customer facing restaurants/hotels/catering operations
• High volume experirnce cooking core to spec menus
• Strong financial acumen - controlling costs, budgets, the GP and labour
• A positive, enthusiastic and outgoing personality and attitude
• Strong people management skills and the ability to train, motivate and develop your team
• An intrinsic understanding of legislation and compliance
