Head Baker - Artisan Bread Bakery

Responsive Personnel are looking for an experienced & passionate Head Baker for a leading artisan bread baker.

The role would suit somebody who is prepared to be a "hands on" leader taking responsibility for managing the baking staff, ensuring first class quality at all times and overseeing the entire baking process.

You will also be responsible for new product development, maintaining inventory and ensuring the bakery exceeds all required health and safety standards.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and plan the baking team
• Ensure quality of all baked goods
• Create & Develop new recipes
• Ensure all Health & Safety standards are met
• Train new staff members
• Manage Bakery budgets

Role Requirements:

• Proven history as head baker or similar role
• Strong leadership & management skills
• Knowledge of all Health & Safety reguations
• Ability to create & develop new recipes
• Good communication skills
• Good attention to detail
• Culinary school is an advantage

Hours: 40 hrs per week ( to suit business needs)

Payrate: upto £42,000 depending on experience

Location: Nr Hungerford (RG17)

Terms: Temp to Perm Contract - Starting ASAP
