Hardware Test Engineer

Position: Quality Assurance Engineer - Hardware

Location: Edinburgh, UK (Hybrid Working)

Role Overview: Seeking a meticulous Hardware Test Engineer to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to robust testing processes for hardware products.

Responsibilities:

• Review specs and technical docs.
• Develop test plans and execute cases.
• Design and implement automated tests.
• Identify and report issues.
• Conduct environmental testing.
• Analyse results and improve designs.
• Some UK travel required.

Requirements:

• Proven hardware quality assurance experience.
• Strong testing methodology knowledge.
• Detail-oriented with commitment to excellence.
• Collaboration skills.
• ISO 9001 familiarity.
• Proficiency in electronic fault finding and PCB rework.
• Lab equipment and test management tool experience.
• Environmental testing expertise.
• Excellent communication skills.

Nice to have:

• Software testing experience.
• Agile familiarity.
• Exposure to Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket.
