Guildford - Hardware Engineer - 55-65k
One of our great partners, a client providing solutions within cyber security and wireless communications, is currently looking for a Hardware Engineer to work onsite in Guildford. Due to the security nature of their work, they will only be able to consider candidates who are eligible for SC clearance and potentially DV clearance, so you will need to hold a British passport.


Job Role:
+ Use VHDL for simulating and implementing signal and image processing algorithms for FPGAs
+ Undergo PCB design and layout
+ Write test firmware and software and do some embedded software developing in C/C++
+ Mentor more junior engineers


Skills Needed:

+ 1st or 2:1 degree from a top University in a STEM related discipline (ideally Physics, Mathematics etc.)
+ Strong academic background including A-levels
+ Have 3+ years’ experience designing complex PCB design or FPGA development in VHDL


Further Information:
This position is onsite so you need to be willing to travel to the office or to relocate. Also as mentioned, the position requires you to have security clearance or be eligible to get it (up to Developed Vetting) so you need to hold a British passport.
