Purpose of the Role

Typically includes tasks such as repairing appliances, fixing plumbing issues, performing carpentry work, painting, maintaining outdoor spaces, and addressing general household repairs.

Key Responsibilities

1. They should possess a range of skills and be able to troubleshoot and fix various problems around the home or commercial property. Additionally, good communication and customer service skills are often important for interacting with clients.

2. Repairing and maintaining household appliances, plumbing fixtures, electrical systems, and HVAC units.

3. Performing carpentry work such as installing shelves, cabinets, doors, and windows.

4. Fixing minor electrical issues like replacing switches, outlets, and light fixtures.

5. Addressing plumbing problems such as leaks, clogs, and pipe repairs.

6. Painting interior and exterior surfaces and performing minor drywall repairs.

7. Maintaining outdoor spaces by mowing lawns, trimming hedges, and repairing fences.

8. Responding promptly to maintenance requests from clients or property managers.

9. Ensuring that work is completed efficiently, accurately, and to a high standard.

10. Providing excellent customer service and communication throughout the repair process.

11. Keeping track of materials and supplies needed for various tasks and managing inventory effectively.

Skills, Knowledge and Experience

Previous experience in a similar environment would be advantageous

Working Hours - 40 hours a week 08:00 – 16:00 

Salary - £15.20 Per hour
