Hair & Beauty Lecturer

Location: Ware, Hertfordshire

Pay: £23.40 per hour + Holiday Pay

Hours: Working Mondays and Thursdays, 7 hours per week.

Hertford Regional College are currently looking for a Hairdressing, Beauty and Media Make - Up Lecturer for our Level 1 Introduction to Hair and Beauty Course.

The successful candidate will be a fully qualified teacher and assessor with a proven track record of delivering effective teaching and learning in the Further Education sector.

Your duties will include:

  • Ensuringthefullimplementation ofcoursereview,evaluation anddevelopment, andother qualityassuranceprocessesasrequiredbyCollegepolicy.
  • Delivering,planning andcoordinating,highqualityteachingandassessmentonappropriate subjects/unitsandcontributingtoteachingonotherprogrammes,asagreedwiththeline manager.
  • Preparinganddeliveringlearning materialsandresources.
  • Maintaininghighlevelsofpastoralsupporttoalllearnersasappropriate,includingday-to-day managementofstudentdiscipline,studentattendanceandliaisonwithparents,guardians, employersandschools.

You will need:

  • Qualified Teacher Status.
  • Assessor Qualification.
  • Level 3 in Hairdressing and Barbering.
  • Level 3 Qualification in BeautyTherapy,Media MakeupandNailtechnology toincludeVocational expertiseinthefollowingGel Nails,NailArt,Threading, MicroDermabrasion BodyElectricalTreatments, BodyArt,CreamandSpray TanningandAirBrush Make-up.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Driveandpassiontoachieve studentsuccess.
