Our client is a global market leader as distributors and support network for automated haematology and haemostasis diagnostic analysers.

Through continued growth they are looking for a Haemostasis Product Specialist

The main aim of the role is to give onsite training, support and complete installation of the machines at customer sites across the UK and Ireland

  • Troubleshooting queries and follow up telephone support after installation.
  • Installation of new equipment and verification of all routine and specialist assays.
  • Upgrades of equipment
  • Administer and deliver onsite training courses
  • Continually update training course material
  • Develop, promote and maintain Customer Competency Examinations

Essential skills

  • It is essential that the successful candidate has experience of specialist coagulation e.g. factor assays, thrombophilia, lupus, von Willebrand Factor assays
  • BSc (Hons) degree in Biomedical Science or Similar
  • A good depth in haemostasis experience
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a laboratory environment or Agenda for Change band >=6
  • Technical and logical problem-solving capability.
  • Reading and understanding of scientific and technical documentation.

It would be distinct advantage to have

  • A good depth in haemostasis experience
  • Experience of Laboratory IT systems
