My client based in Yorkshire is looking for an experienced, Band 6/7 Haematology & Blood Transfusion Biomedical Scientist for a locum contract, starting as soon as possible.

The Role:

  • Duration: Ongoing
  • Shift Patterns: 37.5hrs/wk or more.

Requirements:

  • HCPC Registered as a Biomedical Scientistspecialising in Haematology and Blood Transfusion
  • Apparatus:
    • Beckman Coulter DxH 900s
    • Beckman Coulter Automate
    • Remisol interface
    • Stago StaR Max coagulation analysers
    • BioRad IH500 Blood Transfusion Analyser
    • Blood360 blood tracking
    • Tosoh G11
    • Sebia Electrophoresis
    • Telepath LIMS Specialist Portfolio
  • In depth knowledge of statutory and regulatory requirements for work in medical laboratories.
  • Candidate will be required to cover both Haematology and Blood Transfusion
