Groups and Events consultant

Groups and Events consultant - Required for this expanding large independent TMC with an office based in central London. They are looking for a travel industry professional, with strong flights knowledge using Amadeus from a corporate or leisure background. Salary up to 30k, Monday to Friday plus great benefits.

Group and events consultants duties
-To be the first point of contact for their clients with regards to all enquiries and the maintenance of ongoing client relationships
-To ensure that turnaround times are met, and that information provided to clients is accurate.
-To take and put together client proposals - always ensuring that proposals are consistent, relevant, accurate, commercially viable and stand out. It is essential to always demonstrating strong and confident destination knowledge.
- To make both individual and group bookings using Amadeus (air, rail, hotels) and all ground travel arrangements liaising with appropriate DMCs as required
-To follow up with clients to gain feedback and to support the process of ongoing business.
-To travel with clients as required and to be on site handling all issues that may arise.

Groups and events consultants skills required
-You have at least 2 years' experience of working for a tour operator or travel agency and have strong GDS knowledge (Amadeus)
- Experience within flight/rail booking,
-Strong organisational skills
-You are able to travel to events when required
-You are career focused with ambitions to further develop your career in groups and events.
