Group Travel consultant

Group Travel Consultant, Homebased or Hybrid: This prestige business travel company are recruiting in their Event Travel Management team for a Group Travel Consultant who's experienced with a GDS and Business or corporate travel and is interested in moving into Group travel as you will be making large group bookings and dealing with fares and ticketing as part of this role.

Group Travel Consultant, Responsibilities:

• Create group and individual reservations and accurately input data
• Negotiate best fares with suppliers as well as flexible terms and conditions
• Responsible for controlling budgeted costs
• Main point of contact for both internal and external clients and suppliers

Group Travel Consultant, Skills Required:

• Proven experience in the travel industry, specifically booking and ticketing group, business travel or corporate travel
• GDS experience
• Excellent fares and ticketing knowledge including Published, Net, Group and consolidator fare types
• Knowledge and experience of the air/travel industry and key contacts

Additional Information:

• Homebased or Hybrid in London
• Paying up to £31,000 plus bonuses
• Working Mon - Fri hours within 08.30 - 18.00
