Group Risk Account Manager

GTS Banking and Finance are recruiting for a Group Risk Account Manager to work for our client on hybrid basis (commutable to London or Surrey)

Our client, a leading provider of financial services, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Group Risk Account Manager to join their team. Reporting directly to the Principal Health & Protection, you'll be an integral part of a small team of group risk and healthcare advisers and support staff.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and nurture a portfolio of mainly SME group protection clients.
• Provide expert advice and administration services to each client, ensuring their needs are met with precision and care.
• Drive cross and upselling opportunities within the existing client base while actively seeking out new business opportunities.
• Follow established processes to deliver a personalised and high-quality service that exceeds client expectations.
• Collaborate effectively with the team to maintain a supportive and cohesive work environment.

Experience/Qualifications:

Essential:

• Proven track record in a similar account management role within the financial services sector.
• In-depth understanding of group protection insurances, including Life Assurance Trusts and associated wellbeing benefits.
• Excellent organisational skills with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office packages (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
• GR1 qualification preferred.
• Experience with iO software is advantageous.
