My client is one of the UK's leading FMCG businesses and as a result of significant organic growth, the company is looking for a Group Reporting Manager to join their team in Warrington. This is a very exciting opportunity to be part of a high growth dynamic business and the role requires someone to be based on site 5 days a week with salary being between £65k and £75k.

The Group Reporting Manager will own all external and statutory reporting processes including audit, taxation and compliance and will be responsible for overseeing the budget and forecasting processes with European Group reporting. The individual will report directly to the Finance Director and will also be heavily involved in M&A activity and supporting the growth agenda so that transactions are ready.

TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Provision of accurate and timely consolidated financial information
Own external compliance; including taxation, companies house and banking
Produce statutory accounts and manage a smooth audit process
Oversee robust budget and forecasting processes and present these internally and externally
Manage, standardize and improve European wide reporting and controls
Assess and support the business around M&A opportunities and helping build the business case

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

Fully qualified ACA/ACCA with post qualified experience outside of audit
Deep knowledge and experience of statutory financial reporting requirements
Good tax knowledge or experience beneficial
Experience of managing an efficient audit process across multiple jurisdictions
Managing budget and forecasting process to support business case to external funders and stakeholders
Independent worker, self-driven, entrepreneurial approach
Advanced communication skills, both verbal and meaningful presentation of data
Prepared to support and develop the finance team to 'best in class' solutions
Positive attitude, deals with challenge and change
Ability to work in a fast paced and changing environment
