Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of Corporate Internal Audit to lead our internal audit department. This pivotal role is responsible for overseeing the comprehensive audit program of the organization, ensuring the effectiveness of risk management, control, and governance processes. The ideal candidate will bring a strategic vision to the audit function, fostering a culture of transparency and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Audit Planning: Develop and execute a comprehensive risk-based annual audit plan.
  • Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and manage a team of internal auditors to ensure high-quality audit work.
  • Risk Assessment: Conduct thorough risk assessments, ensuring effective controls are in place.
  • Audit Execution: Perform detailed audits across various departments, assessing operational efficiency and compliance.
  • Reporting: Deliver insightful audit reports to senior management and the board, outlining findings and recommendations.
  • Compliance Monitoring: Ensure adherence to laws, regulations, and standards in audit practices.
  • Process Improvement: Recommend enhancements to internal processes to boost efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Follow-up Audits: Track the implementation of audit recommendations to ensure timely corrective action.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Engage with key stakeholders across the organization to align audit functions with business objectives.
  • Regulatory Updates: Keep abreast of regulatory changes affecting the audit landscape.
