Group FP&A Analyst

Partner Financial are working with a FTSE 100, multinational logistics business with a turnover in the billions. The business is experiencing a changing market dynamic which needs constant attention. Providing services to multiple companies globally, they have revolutionised the sector with a continued focus on their clients and product offering.

Reporting to the Group FP&A Manager, this role will support them to lead and deliver a variety of integral projects; Business Planning, Budgeting cycle and any ad-hoc analysis requested by the business. This will run alongside day-to-day financial planning activities and a commitment to constant business improvement.

Key responsibilities:

• Planning, budgeting & forecasting with the local business areas to report and track progress against the delivery of financial targets
• Providing advice and guidance to reduce cost, increase profit and revenue, using insights and data analysis to drive the commercial decision-making process
• Working alongside the Group FP&A Manager in the preparation and review of the Business Plan reporting packs
• Partnering with the divisional teams, communicating requests for information and answering queries
• Business Partnering across the organisation to gain an understanding of the current projects and proposed initiatives
• Assisting in the consolidation of sections of the Business Plan and producing sections of presentations on the performance of the organisation

The ideal candidate:

• Fully Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
• Able to deliver with exceptional levels of accuracy, placing a high regard on achieving excellence
• Previous experience working within industry is essential
• A natural team player with well-developed interpersonal skills, able to promote good team working and co-operation
• An inquisitive mind-set that continuously challenges and seeks process improvement
