Group FP&A Analyst - 12-month FTC
A leading Construction group are seeking a Group FP&A Specialist to join the team on a 12-month FTC with potential to go permanent for the right individual. The business is going through an exciting transition. They are looking for a personable and proactive Analyst to challenge the status quo, support the FP&A team, produce financial models, and continue developing strong stakeholder relationships.
This role will involve business partnering across various finance teams and the wider business, reporting to the Head of FP&A. The business operates on a hybrid basis with 2 days a week in the office and have a collaborative working culture.
Core Responsibilities:
- Produce management information for internal and external stakeholders, providing market trends, business needs and analysis to drive decision making.
- Produce financial models in line with 3 and 5-year business plans, assisting the transaction teams.
- Business Partner with the FP&A and Group Finance teams providing regular reporting and analysis to drive performance.
- Assist with process improvement where necessary.
- Assist with ad hoc projects and provide support and value to the business to drive effective business decisions.
Key skills and experience required:
- Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent).
- Experience in the construction space ideal.
- Previous experience with M&A and producing financial models.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and experience with ERP systems preferred.
