Group Financial Controller

Our client is a PE backed niche service business with ambitious expansion plans who are looking to recruit a Group Financial Controller to join their team.

The Role of Group Financial Controller

Reporting to the part time Finance Director, your duties will include but not limited to:

• Day to day management of the finance function of 10
• Financial lead on leadership team meetings
• Budgeting and forecasting
• Monthly management accounts including the month end close process:

o Closing the sub-ledgers

o Flash reporting

o Accruals and prepayments

o Month end balance sheet reconciliations

o Fixed assets

• Group cash forecasting and management, including group financing arrangements
• Completion and submission of the quarterly VAT returns and other statutory compliance
• Preparing and submitting the annual statutory account and associated tax filings
• Leading the roll out of the new ERP system

The Candidate for Group Financial Controller

• Qualified Accountant from big 4 background or similar
• Experience in a SAAS Business
• Experience of a PE backed business.
• Self-motivation and being a team player are essential
• Good man manager
• Experience of ERP system implementation
• You may be a controller in a c £10 million turnover business or a Financial Accountant in a larger one.
