Group Financial Controller | Renowned Creative Agency | 15 month Contract

Harmonic are delighted to have been engaged exclusively by an internationally renowned agency, on their search for a Group Financial Controller for a 15 month contract.

The Client

Our client has carved out a niche within their sector and has become a globally recognised business for the incredible body of work and clients they've secured. This role will report directly into the Finance Director, but will have excellent exposure to the Senior Leadership Team.

The Role

As the Financial Controller, you will be responsible for managing team of three, including a Management Accountant and two Finance Assistants. You will take full responsibility for running the day-to-day finances for the Finance department, covering around 3 entities. This role will suit a technically strong accountant who also has broad experience covering forecasting, budgeting, cashflow management and financial controls.

Duties

• Develop and mentor a team of 3 (including Management Accountant and two Finance Assistants)
• Oversee and ensure the smooth running of the finance function.
• Support with producing forecasts, budgets and oversee cashflow management.
• Manage the month-end and year-end processes.
• Drive process improvements and efficiencies within the company.
• Business partner with internal stakeholders to ensure budgets remain on target.
• Ensure a robust controls environment within the organisation
• Ad-hoc projects to support the Finance Director

Essential Experience

• Strong Excel experience
• Experience within the Agency industry (ideally Network Agency)
• Excellent communication skills

Day Rate: £375-450 (Inside IR35)

Start Date: mid to late April
