Job Title: Group Financial Accountant

Location: South East England, Berkshire, Ascot

Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time

Primary Industry: Accounting

Salary: £45,000 - £55,000 per annum

Job DescriptionJob Duties:
  • Preparing and consolidating financial statements for the group
  • Managing financial reporting processes
  • Analysing financial data and providing insights to support decision-making
  • Ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations
  • Participating in budgeting and forecasting activities
  • Assisting in the preparation for audits
  • Supporting financial projects and initiatives
Required Qualifications:
  • Professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or finalist)
  • Proven experience in financial accounting and reporting
  • Strong knowledge of financial principles and practises
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in financial software and MS Excel
Education:
  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
Experience:
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar financial accounting role
Knowledge and Skills:
  • Thorough understanding of financial regulations and reporting standards
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and independently
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Postgraduate qualification in Accounting or Finance
  • Experience in a group accounting environment
Working Conditions:
  • Office-based role in Ascot, Berkshire
  • Standard working hours with occasional overtime during peak periods
  • Collaboration with finance team and other departments
