Group Finance Manager

In this dynamic role, you'll collaborate closely with the tax accountant, situated within our client's esteemed head office finance team. You will influence at Senior Leadership Team level, the overseas Group finance team, and external auditors.

Your responsibilities will encompass a diverse range of tasks, including crafting the monthly group reporting pack with meticulous attention to IFRS adjustments. You'll conduct comprehensive monthly and YTD variance analyses for balance sheet accounts, ensuring precision and clarity. The completion of statutory accounts and annual group financial statements in UK GAAP will also fall under your purview, along with the production of subsidiary financial statements.

A highlight of your role will involve orchestrating the annual external audit process with audit partner, facilitating seamless interactions during interim and year-end visits. Your expertise will be instrumental in shaping and supervising the Group's accounting policies and procedures, including pivotal areas like revenue recognition and acquisition consolidation.

The ideal candidate will hold a professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA) and boasts a good educational background, ideally at degree level. Prior experience in accounting practice or a related field is highly valued, along with a nuanced understanding of evolving accounting standards (IFRS and UK GAAP) and corporate governance/reporting.
