Are you a technical accountant who would like to manage continuous change? This is a newly created role in a business that is PE backed with an appetite to double the turnover in 3 years. Part of this strategy is to build a strong foundation with controls and processes. You will be responsible for instigating and implementing these changes. You will also manage the transactional team and oversee the corporate finance, which will be a key part in making strategic decisions.

Key responsibilities;

  • Assisting Group FC with support and development of the Group Finance function
  • Embedding robust policies and procedures across the Group Finance function
  • Implementing the culture focused on output and driving simplicity & best practice in all ways of working
  • Ownership of treasury function including rolling 13 week cash forecast, management of all bank accounts and oversight of ID facility
  • Redesign of internal models to enhance efficiency in data collation
  • Delivery of monthly consolidations and Group pack by WD8
  • Consolidation of Monthly business forecasts alongside bank covenants
  • Ownership of Balance Sheet control environment and review of reconciliations across the Group
  • Team Management of Financial Accountant, AP and Credit Control functions
  • Responsibility for preparation of month end accounts
  • Responsibility for monthly payroll
  • Full review of monthly Central function results with Function Leads & CFO/GFC
  • Central function budgets and consolidation of all business budgets
  • Continual challenge of the ERP system to drive efficiency in processes

The ideal candidate will be fully qualified and have a proven technical background, ideally in a management capacity.

Hybrid working is being offered, with an early finish on a Friday.
